Three original releases, three different questions
This edition reviews official material released on 24 September, 7 October, and 9 October. It does not treat those dates as events occurring today or draw a Bitcoin price forecast from them.

Household finances: a dated survey
On 9 October, the Federal Reserve released its 2025 Survey of Consumer Finances. It reported that real median family income rose 7% from the 2022 survey, while real mean income fell 6%. The share of families with debt payments above 40% of income increased from 6.5% to 8.6%. These are survey findings about households, not live asset-demand data. Read the original release and our research exercise.
Policy minutes: the meeting was in September
On 7 October, the Fed published minutes for the September 15–16 Federal Open Market Committee meeting. The document describes that meeting; it is not a new policy decision made on 7 or 15 October. Check the minutes and the original statement separately before describing a policy change. Read the Fed release.
Stablecoins: a proposal remains a proposal
On 24 September, the Fed requested public comment on two proposals for Board-supervised payment stablecoin issuers. The release describes proposed reserve, capital, risk-management, safekeeping, and application requirements. A proposal should not be presented as a final rule. Read the original proposal notice and continue with the stablecoin section.
Reader checklist
For each claim, record the release date, the period measured, whether the document is a result or proposal, and the original URL. Keep interpretation separate from those facts, and recheck the publisher before sharing a time-sensitive conclusion.
