Compare total costs on one basis
Avoid comparing a partial quote with a complete one.

A worked example
Offer A in a fictional comparison costs 5 units to trade plus 2 units for conversion. Offer B costs 3 units to trade plus 6 for conversion. Looking only at the trade fee favors B; adding the stated costs gives 7 versus 9. Other costs remain outside this toy example.
