Keep a private ledger and a public explanation
Give each document only the detail its audience needs.
Source foundation
Bitcoin transactions are public; an address does not guarantee anonymity. Bitcoin: protecting your privacy.
A worked example
For a teaching article, a writer uses invented amounts and clearly labels them hypothetical. A separate private accounting record contains the real supporting documents. Copying the entire private record into the article would add information that readers do not need to understand the arithmetic.
Original hypothetical example. Amounts, people, events, and scenarios above are invented for learning; they are not historical observations or forecasts.
What to take from it
Educational clarity does not require publishing personal financial records.
Try it on paper
Rewrite a sample explanation with fictional names and amounts.
Keep the assumptions beside your answer. Check the result before applying the idea to a different situation.
