Define what verified means
Attach a claim to the check that actually supports it.
Source foundation
Full validation and simplified payment verification provide different levels of verification. Bitcoin developer guide: operating modes.
A worked example
A fictional dashboard has three lights: data downloaded, block inclusion observed, and validation completed. Calling all three lights verified would make the interface ambiguous. A clearer report names the completed check and separately states what has not been checked.
Original hypothetical example. Amounts, people, events, and scenarios above are invented for learning; they are not historical observations or forecasts.
What to take from it
A verification label should communicate scope, not just confidence.
Try it on paper
Replace three vague verified labels with specific descriptions.
Keep the assumptions beside your answer. Check the result before applying the idea to a different situation.
